Melissa Oneil

  Melissa Crystal O'Neil, born on July 12, 1988, is a Canadian actor and singer. O'Neil was the first Canadian woman to be the winner of Canadian Idol's third season, which aired in the year 2005. Her most well-known work is her role in Syfy as Two as Two Rebeccaas Two / Rebecca / Portia Lin on the science fiction show Dark Matter, and on ABC as Officer Lucy Chen in the ABC procedural drama series The Rookie.

 O'Neil was O'Neil was a Calgary, Alberta native. Her mother is Hong Kong Chinese and her father is Irish.



 



 O'Neil was O'Neil was a Terry Fox Junior High School student. O'Neil was a student at Lester B. Pearson High School, Calgary. There she took part in musicals and also played the sport of rugby. She also played in the basketball team.
